Nursing Induction

Welcome to the RMIT Nursing Simulation Ward Induction.

This induction has been developed for students enrolled in the RMIT Bachelor of Nursing program. It provides an introduction to the Nursing Simulation Ward, its facilities, equipment and essential safety requirements to help you prepare for your simulation-based learning activities.

What you will learn

Through this induction, you will:

• Explore the Nursing Simulation Ward through an interactive 360° virtual tour.

• Become familiar with the simulation environment, facilities and equipment.

• Understand the essential safety procedures and expectations when using the simulation facilities.

• Develop an understanding of the requirements for participating in Nursing simulation activities.

Mandatory completion requirements

All Nursing students are required to complete this induction before accessing their Nursing course content.

To successfully complete the induction, you must:

1. Work through the induction materials, including the interactive 360° virtual tour.

2. Complete the induction knowledge assessment.

3. Achieve a score of 100% in the assessment.

You may attempt the assessment again if you do not achieve 100% on your first attempt.

Please ensure you complete all induction requirements before commencing your Nursing course activities.

Who should complete this induction?

This induction is mandatory for students enrolled in the following RMIT Nursing courses:

• NURS2204

• NURS2209

• NURS2214

All students across the Nursing program are expected to complete this induction as a prerequisite for accessing their course content.
