Sex & Consent is a self-paced online course designed to familiarise you with the issues and complexity surrounding sexual consent and young people's experiences of sex and relationships.

This course will introduce you to the key terms and ideas for a communicative approach to consent, as well as best practice for responding to and supporting someone who has experienced sexual harm or violence.

Guided by this vision, the University aims to achieve three long-term impacts, whereby:

  • Gender-based violence and gender inequality are reduced
  • Respect, safety and a culture of collective care are normalised
  • Victim-survivors and users of violence are appropriately considered and supported
