Full course description
The course aims to: • Refresh core journalistic skills especially in a contemporary digital context • Strengthen clear, effective writing across and platforms • Improve capacity to produce engaging digital-first stories efficiently • Introduction to practical and ethical uses of AI in newsroom workflows • Support sustainable storytelling practices in low-resource media settings • work with participants to produce real-time, publishable work during the program • Provide guidance on submitting work for national journalism awards, such as Walkleys or Quills
